Thrust Roller Bearings

Thrust roller bearings have high load rates, they can support shocks and are indicated in applications requiring high axial load capacity where thrust ball bearings wouldn’t be enough.
Thrust roller bearings also consist of two kinds of washers and a cage assembly.
So the features are:

  • Axial rigidity;
  • High axial load capability;
  • Cage assemblies that retain rolling elements in place;
  • Allows interference fit with the shaft;
  • Rollers or spherical roller elements;
  • Different type of cages according to requirements, pressed sheet-steel cage or machined cage in steel or brass.

Thrust roller bearings can be one direction or bidirectional.
