Track Rollers

Track rollers are capable of working correctly in presence of impulsive loads or even shock loads, due to their solid outer ring. This outer ring most of times is shaped in order to fit a particular track or mounting requirements.
Just like cam followers and differently from the normal roller or needle bearings, track rollers are designed to work without support on the entire circumference of the outer ring. This way of work generates bending stresses and a slight distortion of the ring, modifying the load zone inside the bearing. This would lead a normal bearing to a short life, as it is designed to be fitted in a housing. Instead track rollers deal with that with no problems.
